Bloggies ‘08 remembered (mostly)

Kudos to all the award winners from last Saturday’s awards ceremony in the Alexander. A full list of the award winners can be found here. All things considered there weren’t many surprises. Nialler9 cemented his place at the top of the music blogger heap, Twenty Major won Most Humorous and Best Blog while MC Rick O’Shea was moved to tears by his win for Best Pop Culture Blog - the emotional bit wasn’t as anticipated as the result - by me anyway.

Twenty also provided an excellent script for the segways - I hope they get put up on YouTube.

In the aftermath there was talk of Nordies getting the thin end of the wedge when it came to dishing out the gongs but…no I’ll leave that remark to myself.
